This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into our various sites.Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

The Analysis, Insights & Performance department at Arden University plays a vital role in driving data-driven decisions. About the Opportunity:

The Data Product Development Lead will lead and guide the design, development, and delivery of high-quality data products that support evidence-based decision-making across the institution. This role bridges data, technology, and user experience to transform raw information into accessible, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders at all levels across teaching, research and operations.

About You:

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in data product management or a similar role (e.g. analytics lead, data solutions architect)
  • Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks, BigQuery), and product development lifecycle features e.g. Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience designing user-centered solutions, informed by research and engagement.
  • Working knowledge and experience with design thinking and agile methodologies and tooling to deliver products (e.g. Jira, Trello, DevOps).

Desirable requirements:

  • Qualifications in Agile Methodologies, analytics, product management or a related field.Understanding of data governance, ethics, and privacy regulations.
