Job description

A leading international law firm is seeking a UK-qualified associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded European Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity team in London.

The team advises some of the world’s most innovative companies — from start-ups to global market leaders — on high-profile matters spanning data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging digital regulation. Work includes GDPR/UK GDPR compliance, international data transfers, incident response, AI and IoT developments, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory investigations.

You will work closely with colleagues across Europe and the US, gaining exposure to complex advisory, enforcement, and policy-shaping mandates at the forefront of technology and regulation.

Key requirements

  • 2–4 years’ PQE, England & Wales qualified
  • Magic Circle or equivalent pedigree
  • Strong foundation in UK data protection and cybersecurity law
  • Excellent academics and communication skills
  • Interest in technology, digital regulation, and cross-border work
  • Experience with regulators, digital frameworks (DSA, DMA, AI Act, OSA), and tech industries is advantageous.
