Job summary

Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment is representing a worldwide travel retail platform for a Data Protection and Privacy Legal Counsel on a 3-6 month fixed term contract. This fully remote role reports to the Data Protection Officer and supports the Privacy Team across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include advising on UK GDPR and EU GDPR, drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, and assisting with privacy compliance projects and data subject rights requests.

Qualifications

• Practical privacy and data protection knowledge across jurisdictions.
• Experience advising on GDPR (UK/EU) and data processing agreements.
• Strong drafting and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, day-to-day legal advice on privacy and data protection across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review, draft and negotiate data processing agreements, data sharing agreements and transfer clauses.
• Support privacy compliance projects and respond to day-to-day privacy queries from business stakeholders.
• Assist with data subject rights requests and privacy notices, policies and procedures.
