Job summary

Greene King, the country’s leading pub company and brewer, is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to support the DPO in handling data protection requests, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining RoPA records. The role requires collaboration across pub teams, IT, and support functions to ensure timely, compliant responses.

The successful candidate will assist with privacy notices, data incident handling, and governance processes, contributing to Greene King’s commitment to responsible data

Qualifications

• Experience in data protection and handling subject access requests.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and gather data from multiple teams.
• Experience with redaction and video editing for data disclosures.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage requests for disclosure of personal data from third parties.
• Liaise with pub teams, support centres, IT and property teams to retrieve data.
• Prepare personal data for sharing with data subjects and third parties (redaction, video editing).
• Ensure requests are processed promptly and escalate complex cases to the DPO.
• Keep accurate records of progress and outcomes of each request.
