Job summary

We are growing. Privacy and AI compliance has moved from a back office concern to a board level priority, and our clients are asking more of us because of it. Every week brings a new regulation, a new enforcement decision, or a new product launch that needs a privacy lens before it ships.

The Work

Lex Dinamica is a consulting firm that provides Privacy, AI and Risk solutions. Our advisory, technology and DPO services help clients address regulatory challenges worldwide and deliver compliance-driven value.

Our clients range from FTSE 100 companies and global multinationals to government contractors and high growth scale ups, and they come to us for advisory work, DPO support delivered as a service, AI governance, and privacy technology programmes including OneTrust, where we are a certified implementation partner.

The Data Analyst Intern role is your entry point into privacy consulting. Over six months, you will work alongside our consultants and analysts on live client engagements, learning the technical and regulatory craft while contributing real value to the work we do. It is also how we find and develop the people who might become the next generation of Lex Dinamica.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Support privacy engagements through research, data analysis, and reporting
• Build reports and dashboards for internal and client use
• Contribute to documentation, policies, and platform configuration
• Support German or French speaking client accounts where your languages allow

In practice, that means learning quickly and contributing meaningfully. You will be trusted with real responsibility from your first weeks, supported by the senior colleagues you work alongside.

You will conduct research and analysis. Data mapping exercises, regulatory research, compliance metrics, and the analytical work that makes a privacy programme run. You will learn to translate regulatory obligation into practical guidance.

You will build reports and dashboards. Turning raw compliance data into something a client executive can act on, using tools like Excel and BI platforms.

You will contribute to documentation and platform work. Drafting sections of policies, updating registers, configuring modules in OneTrust and comparable platforms, and learning the tools that a modern privacy programme relies on.

You will be a language anchor for the team. When a DACH or French speaking client wants to work in their own language, review documentation, or have technical content localised, you can help make that possible.

You will learn quickly and deeply. Privacy consulting is a technical craft as much as a regulatory one, and the six months here are designed to give you meaningful exposure across research, analysis, technology, and client work.

Who we're looking for

Must haves

• A recent graduate (within the last 12 months) or in the final months of your degree, with a strong academic record.
• Fluency in German or French in addition to English, to a level where you can review documents and hold professional conversations.
• A genuine interest in privacy, AI governance, and the wider compliance technology space. You want to build a career here.
• Strong analytical and problem solving instincts. Privacy work is detail heavy, and small choices have real downstream consequences.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English. You can explain a concept clearly and write to a professional standard.
• A right to work in the UK.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Familiarity with OneTrust or comparable privacy technology platforms.
• Prior internships or placements in privacy, compliance, law, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and the broader regulatory landscape.
• A recognised privacy credential such as CIPP/E or the willingness to start working towards one.
• Additional language capability beyond German, French, and English.
• A relevant degree in a field such as Law, Business, Politics, Information Security, Data Analytics, or similar.
