Job summary

Careerwise is building a brand-new Data & AI function and is investing in an enterprise data platform built around Microsoft Fabric and Azure. We are seeking a Data Platform Operations Manager to take ownership of the platform’s stability, security and performance to support Data Engineering, Analytics and AI teams globally.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large-scale data platform environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure platform operations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to collaborate across global Data Engineering, Architecture, Security and Governance teams.
• Strong monitoring, incident response and performance tuning skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Manage Fabric capacities, workspaces, permissions and environments.
• Support Dev, Test, UAT, Pre-Prod and Production environments.
• Manage releases, deployment pipelines and CI/CD through Azure DevOps.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity and consumption.
• Manage incidents, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Build monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards.
• Drive DataOps, automation and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security and Governance teams.

We’re looking for a Data Platform Operations Manager to help take operational ownership of the platform – ensuring it is stable, secure, performant and ready to support Data Engineering, Analytics and AI teams globally.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating and supporting the Microsoft Fabric platform
• Managing Fabric capacities, workspaces, permissions and environments
• Supporting Dev, Test, UAT, Pre-Prod and Production environments
