Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks a Delivery Lead for the Head of Data Platform to own and drive the data estate and strategic change.

You will liaise with business, Change Management and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable data solutions in a large-scale programme. The role requires extensive experience delivering data programmes in Insurance, strong leadership, and expertise in Snowflake, relational databases and Python-driven data engineering.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of modern database technologies including Snowflake and relational DBs.
• Proficiency with programming languages; strong data engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI and data visualization.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methods and project management.
• Prior experience delivering data programmes in Insurance/Financial services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of strategic data programmes within the Insurance data estate, ensuring scope, budget and quality.
• Coordinate with governance, business and vendors to drive roadmap and change.
• Prepare updates for senior management and ensure compliance with standards throughout project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage team through recruitment, training, performance management and recognition.
