Exciting opportunity for a Data Platform Engineer with deep experience in Terraform and Ansible coding to join this Commodities Trading Company.

This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. These initiatives include advanced Gas infrastructure, LNG technology, effective Energy Storage systems, and Green Energy solutions. You will be building the platform reporting capability (using the Dataiku APIs) to monitor the platform and support dashboards provided to the platform governance forum, and owning the platform configuration details, and how this is achieved in the build pipeline.

Must Have :

• Good working knowledge of Azure platforms and Linux VM builds
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform and Ansible coding
• Technical capability to support platform build and monitoring (configuration through Dataiku APIs)

Further Responsibilities:

• Bringing the ops team onboard at the appropriate time to manage the transition of the platform to run
• Supporting the build out of environment using Terraform
• Automation of application and configuration using Ansible
• Implementation of git integration
• Define and support building the user JML capability (joiner, mover, leaver)
• Designing, defining, and building the model promotion capability through the instances
• Supporting the integration of data sources
• Implementation of project backup capability
• Responsible for defining, building, and managing Python code environments
