Connells Group is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join the Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. You will help deliver the Connells Group Fabric Data Platform, covering design, capacity, management and configuration.

The role offers hybrid working with one day per week in the Milton Keynes office, and opportunities to work with cloud data platforms, incident response, cost optimisation, and security.

Formación

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric data platform.
• Proven experience with SQL Server administration and tuning.
• Experience with cloud technologies and cost optimisation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain the Connells Group Fabric Data Platform.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability and capacity.
• Undertake platform capacity management.
• Maintain the Data Platform for Connells users, managing downtime and risk of disruption.
• Assist with cloud cost optimisation.
• Root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Out-of-hours support as required for operations.
