Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to maintain a stable, secure data platform across Azure Databricks, Fabric and related services. The role is hands-on, focusing on platform health, governance and incident response to support production use.

You will work with Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams to implement monitoring, runbooks, and release processes, ensuring changes are deployed safely and efficiently while sustaining high availability for NRF’s global

Qualifications

Experience supporting cloud-based data platforms in production or near-production environments.
Knowledge of Azure services, governance, and security controls in regulated environments.
Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 operational support for Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure services.
Maintain platform health, availability, and cost awareness across the data platform estate.
Manage incidents, problems, changes, and service requests per ITSM processes.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Delivery teams to deploy platform changes safely.
Contribute to CI/CD, runbooks, and release governance across environments.
Promote continuous improvement through documentation and knowledge sharing.
