Job summary

MONY Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to build and operate the data platform powering analytics, CRM, and financial reporting.

You will improve CI/CD pipelines, tooling and observability, apply AI-assisted engineering, and ensure security and reliability across data products used by multiple teams.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to reduce toil, raise developer experience, and share practical learnings across the team.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL for production data tasks.
• Experience building/operating cloud-based data systems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, version control, and testing.
• Ability to balance reliability, security, observability and support.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the data platform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and platform tooling.
• Work with security/compliance to reduce risk.
• Build scalable data solutions for CRM, SEO, financial reporting and personalisation.
• Improve monitoring and observability; detect and understand issues quickly.
• Identify AI-assisted workflows and automation and apply them to delivery patterns.
• Share practical learning through documentation, demos, and coaching.
