Data Partnership Director: Based anywhere in the UK

Following the acquisition by NielsenIQ in June, 'CGA by NielsenIQ' is expanding its capabilities into new markets, bringing world-class on-premise data solutions.

Our work helps beverage brands track market trends, benchmark performance, understand key accounts, activate brand plans, launch products with less risk, and optimize product offerings on bars and menus worldwide.

The Opportunity

We seek a talented individual to help shape our data acquisition strategy, manage, and support data partners, mainly in hospitality technology sectors such as POS, order/pay apps, and in-venue technology.

You will manage your own portfolio of prospects and existing partners, collaborating with internal teams to maximize success. Your responsibilities include creating and executing multi-market data partnership plans and developing new engagement opportunities.

This role requires skills in account management, product and marketing strategy, commercial positioning, data analysis, and reporting. You will oversee multiple partnerships, monitor deliverables, and track overall success.

The Partnership Manager Role
  • Identify partnership opportunities through research and industry campaigns
  • Lead or support engagement processes and collaborate with local teams to grow partnerships
  • Build trust within partner organizations by understanding their industry and objectives
  • Prepare legal documentation and manage sample data receipt
  • Coordinate data testing and commercial scope assessment with Data Ingestion and Data Science teams
  • Complete value-assessment documentation to identify service gaps
  • Support negotiation and contract preparation
  • Manage data flow reporting and key account management
  • Enhance engagement and collaboration with partners
Measurement and KPIs
  • Quantity and quality of contracted data partners
  • Strong relationships with partner stakeholders
  • Partner satisfaction and retention

Key Attributes, Skills, and Experiences
  • Relevant degree and experience in partnership, sponsorship, or marketing roles
  • Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Ownership and accountability in operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, proficient in MS Office
