Castleton Commodities International is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to lead the onshore portion of a major automation and workflow-driven program in London. The role starts by clearing the reference data backlog across trade mappings, ETRM data and expiry dates, then identifies root causes, control gaps and automation opportunities for workflows and master data management.

Formación

• 3+ years experience in commodities, energy trading or financial services with ETRM/CTRM knowledge.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, able to work through complex datasets independently.
• Solid understanding of data mapping, reference and master data, data quality and control concepts.
• Working knowledge of relational data models, data lineage and system-to-system data flows.
• Experience turning operational problems into structured requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Able to bridge operational, business and technical teams, with a practical continuous-improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide trade support across ETRM systems, maintain the Exchange Limits View and flag breaches to Compliance, reconciling ETRM data with master data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and tech teams to test and embed solutions with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate recurring issues into data ops requirements for MDM, workflows, integration and controls.
• Clear reference data backlog including unmapped trades and expiry dates.
• Use SQL and data profiling to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Document mappings, business rules, data definitions, process flows and source-to-target requirements.
• Design EBX approval workflows and ServiceNow intake for master data changes.
• Define SLAs and runbooks to ensure offshore EBX updates meet standards.
• Resolve exceptions escalated by offshore team and business.
• Own the trade failure log in ServiceNow: categorize, assign and close, tracing to origin.
