We have a new opportunity for a Data Operations professional to join the RLAM Data Management team and establish data management services for Group Finance (RLMIS) assets alongside the existing RLAM assets.

We are looking for an experienced data management operations analyst with experience in managing Portfolio, Portfolio Groups, Security, Benchmarks, Pricing and Reference data within Blackrock Aladdin.

This role will support data operational services in Royal London Asset Management with additional focus on Royal London Group Finance assets. You will need to be a confident communicator who can collaborate across the business engaging with senior business and project stakeholders.

About the role

• Deliver best in class Data Management and Operational services, acting as 1st line data support function for business users and escalation point within the team. Meeting SLAs and no risk events.
• Supporting Group Finance Investment assets and services within the wider Data Management team.
• Understand how changes to RLAM data services might impact Group Finance and manage impacts accordingly working with projects and business teams.
• Support on Group Finance Portfolio and Portfolio Group Aladdin related issues and questions.
• Deliver service improvements, evidenced by metrics.
• Escalate relevant risks and controls – including risk events.
• Establish a network of stakeholders across RLAM and Group Finance and build effective relationships and strong communications.
• Ensure data issues are managed, logged and resolved.

About you

• Previous experience in managing data, ideally within an asset manager - including experience of set up and maintenance tasks relating to - Security, portfolio, transaction, pricing, benchmark and reference data.
• Experience in Blackrock Aladdin is highly preferable.
• Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders on both BAU data management activity and project work.
• Experience of Data management practices and principles.
• Strong knowledge of multiple data types used in asset management, including Instruments, complex instruments, Trade, Client, ABOR & IBOR, etc, in its various formats, large and small data sets.
• Experience in working in change delivery projects or squads. Working to agreed project plans and milestones and reporting progress effectively.
• Experience in Data related tools, including advanced excel, SQL, Aladdin toolsets, Power BI, Power Automate.
• Self-starter with a curious mindset who is ambitious and aspires to make a significant difference.
