Remote - Permanent - Business Intelligence Team

I'm looking for a Data Modeler to join a well-established BI team at one of the UK’s leading foodservice businesses. If you’ve got a strong SQL background, experience building tabular models, and enjoy working with stakeholders to shape data into trusted, reusable assets, this could be a great move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and optimising relational schemas and tabular models used across the business.
  • Enhancing and expanding models to support data across fleet, ERP, transport, and logistics.
  • Re-engineering legacy models and reducing technical debt.
  • Supporting ongoing ETL work and maintaining robust semantic layers.
  • Helping create a single version of the truth through structured modelling and clean design.

What You’ll Need:

Must-haves:

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server / RDBMS.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining tabular models (Power BI / SSAS).
  • Good understanding of ETL workflows and data transformation processes.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or other cloud tools.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience working in a BI or analytics team within a complex business environment.
