Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Migration Project Manager on a 12-month FTC basis. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, technical expertise in data migration tools and platforms, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The Role:

You will join their team working on an already inflight implementation of their latest product, a cloud-based SaaS billing solution built around the Salesforce platform. As a member of their Professional Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in the implementation of software to their clients. Your expertise will be crucial in driving excellence, improving processes, and providing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

1. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines for data migration activities.
2. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Oversee data migration processes from analysis, design, extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation.

Stakeholder Management:

1. Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
2. Communicate project updates, risks, and challenges clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Data Governance and Quality Assurance:

1. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the migration process.
2. Develop and implement data quality metrics and validation protocols.
3. Address data-related issues proactively to ensure successful migration outcomes.

Risk and Issue Management:

1. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
2. Resolve issues efficiently to maintain project timelines and objectives.

Team Leadership:

1. Coordinate with data analysts, developers, and business analysts to achieve project milestones.
2. Provide direction and mentorship to project team members.

Tool and Technology Utilisation:

1. Have an understanding of data migration tools and platforms such as ETL tools, SQL, and cloud migration solutions.
