Job summary

GCS is seeking a Data Migration Project Manager to lead an urgent 6-month contract on an Inside IR35 assignment. The role focuses on end-to-end data migration within transformation programmes, with a emphasis on strategy, scope, governance and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in housing or construction sectors, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to coordinate with third-party vendors and global teams to hit milestones on time and budget.

My client is looking for a Data Migration Project Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month contract role (Inside ir35). This is an urgent project hire. Ideally this candidate would have experience within the construction/housing environment.

Key Experience

• Experience in leading end-to-end data migration activities across complex transformation programmes, including defining strategy, scope, and governance.
• Plan and execute data migration cycles
• Ensuring robust processes for data cleansing, transformation, validation, and audit sign-off.
• Engage and manage senior stakeholders and business users
• Translating technical data concepts into clear, actionable plans and driving alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Build and manage high-performing delivery teams, while coordinating with third-party vendors, SMEs, and global teams to deliver migration milestones on time and within budget
• Housing or Construction industry experience preferred
