As a Data Migration Lead, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate data migration efforts for complex utility systems, specifically migrating SCADA and network model data into a Series 6 Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).
  • Define and execute the data migration strategy while managing cross-functional coordination across teams and external data sources.
  • Supervise a team of 6–7 data professionals and oversee the consolidation of data from three different companies into a unified ADMS instance.
  • Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of electrical network and GIS data.
  • Work closely with ADMS, SCADA, and GIS stakeholders to ensure compliance with integration standards and utility data models.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 6+ years of experience in data migration projects, preferably in the utility or energy domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SCADA systems, electrical network models, and GIS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerOn ADMS S6 or similar SCADA/DMS technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of ETL processes and data transformation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with IEC 61970/61968 (CIM) and ADMS integration standards.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, databases, Python, and working across Windows and Linux operating systems.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage complex migration timelines and deliverables.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data migration solutions.
  • Ensure quality, completeness, and validation of migrated data sets.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve data conflicts effectively across systems and teams.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and reliability in data migration tasks.
