Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration Lead who will be responsible for the development of highly complex bespoke data extracts and system interfaces. The main focus of the role will be to support the EmPoweR programme, which will bring a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to our acute services. The post is being offered as an 18 month secondment/fixed-term and will be based at Conquest Hospital with opportunities for home/flexible working.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team and use expert judgement in the analysis and interpretation of highly complex data.
  • Be responsible for architectural design, implementation, monitoring and fault resolution for the data migration extracts and clinical system interfaces.
  • Support the EmPoweR programme to bring a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to our acute services.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience of implementing and supporting enterprise level Data Warehouses (preferably SQL Server).
  • Experience of using Visual Studio in a commercial environment ideally a healthcare setting and interfacing highly complex datasets between bespoke systems both in real time and as batch processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of SSIS, XML, HL7, ODBC and C# and able to provide expert advice on highly complex digital issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to both clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Previous experience of managing a team is an advantage.
