Data Migration Engineer- Remote | £70,000 - £85,000 AWS | Public Safety Projects

We’re looking for an experienced Data Migration Engineer to play a key role in delivering large-scale cloud data integrations and migrations. From day one, you’ll be part of a high-performing delivery team, working alongside the Home Office and key partners to support critical public safety systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and supporting data transmission standards.
• Engaging with multiple sensitive data suppliers, managing and automating their data submissions.
• Supporting source-to-target mappings and helping product teams consume real-time data streams.
• Performing reconciliation across integrated systems.
• Building secure, scalable, and repeatable data flows across on-premise and AWS environments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in data migration and data matching
• Proven ability to write coded programs for data movement.
• Solid AWS experience (AWS certification required).
• Expertise in XML and strong SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of data security and encryption best practices.
• Experience handling data in secure, regulated environments.
• SC Clearable (eligibility for Security Clearance)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with public sector data.
• Previous exposure to Public Sector work
