Michael Page Technology is seeking a Data Migration Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to support migrating client and practice data from existing software systems into a new, cloud-based practice management software.

You will work with local teams across c35 offices, IT and the software house to obtain data, prepare migration files, investigate data-quality issues and coordinate corrections and reconciliation.

Formación

• A relevant degree or practical project experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong Excel skills with macros and VBA, including data filtering and reconciliation.
• Experience migrating CSV/Flat Files and data sets.
• Ability to collaborate across offices and explain issues clearly.
• Willingness to travel to offices across the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Identify data sources and establish extraction methods with IT and software house.
• Export data for local offices and visit offices with on-site servers.
• Prepare and cleanse datasets using Excel, Power Query and relevant tools like IRIS Data Miner.
• Apply mapping rules and document questions or exceptions for clarification.
• Review anomaly reports and coordinate corrections with local teams.
• Identify missing, duplicated, inconsistent or unmatched records and coordinate resolution.
• Prepare reconciliation summaries and obtain partner approval.
• Chase outstanding information and track progress with clear records.
• Maintain controlled versions of source files and migration logs.
• Support early go-live data migration activities and secure data handling.
