Job summary

Project Freelance is recruiting for a Data & MI Manager in Central London for a bank client. The role focuses on data extraction, reporting capabilities, and MI analytics to support compliance and regulatory risk management. You will support senior management and lead on data-driven projects across branches.

The position requires SAS modelling experience, ETL skills (SQL/SAS), and a minimum of three years in banking/compliance, with a quantifiable impact on data quality and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline.
• Experience with SAS modelling platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience in banking/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collate and track client data and transactional activity by Business Units.
• Serve as single point of reference for data-related matters within the branch.
• Prepare daily Transaction Monitoring reports for review.
• Prepare monthly name screening files for GFCC to generate 1AML alerts.
• Maintain master file with full client information alongside CMS team.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly branch transaction volumes by unit and client segment.
• Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other project communications.
• Support the development/test of data analytic trends for profiling, quality, cost performance, risk modelling and program evaluation.
• Provide recommendations on department policies and initiatives based on MI capabilities.
• Manage expectations and drive process performance and continuous improvement with business teams.
• Participate in IT, Data and Project committees for data-related insights.
• Support senior management and Head of Departments at the bank in London.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head of Compliance.
