Job summary

Onyx-Conseil in Central London is seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL Server and SSIS experience to build and maintain robust digital data infrastructure. The role supports data users across the bank, delivering high-quality extraction, reporting, and analytics, with a focus on compliance and regulatory MI reporting.

You will collaborate with IT and business units to define data requirements and drive governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with data extraction, transformation and reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data management technologies.
• Understanding of data governance, regulatory reporting and compliance (banking/financial sector experience a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly.
• Coming from an IT support function is a bonus and helpful for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the digital data infrastructure for reliable data access.
• Deliver accurate data extraction, MI analysis and reporting for operational, compliance and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to clarify data requirements and provide analytics support.
• Explore new technologies/tools to improve data management, governance and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and support implementation of data governance best practices.
• Identify and manage data-related risks supporting regulatory frameworks.
