The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at UCLH is seeking a Data Manager to support a portfolio of Phase I-III clinical trials within the Lung and Breast trials team. The role may involve short-term or long-term coverage of other disease areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and verifying trial-specific information to sponsors, supporting the setup of new clinical trials, and assisting with the processing of biological samples, among other duties. You will work closely with clinical research staff in a supportive and dynamic team environment. While primarily administrative, this role is crucial in enabling clinical research staff to deliver excellent patient care.
We currently support hybrid remote working, combining home and office-based work. Flexibility for on-site attendance at short notice is essential to ensure service continuity.
Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical research, knowledge of cancer, strong communication skills, and some healthcare experience. However, enthusiasm for the role and some relevant criteria are also valued.
The diverse trial portfolio reflects the varied disease spectrum in this age group. The ideal applicant will be organized, proactive, autonomous, and a good communicator, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
