About the role

In this role as the Data Manager for Talent, you'll collaborate with senior leaders to enhance data-driven decision-making processes. Your focus will be on building robust data reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy, and providing insights that drive business performance. You will be the go-to expert for data reporting within your area of the business.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Partner with Directors and Managers: Work closely with senior leaders to deliver accurate and timely data reports that support strategic decision-making.
  2. Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing robust data validation processes.
  3. Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive data reporting systems. Analyse data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  4. Talent Development: Support the development of high-potential talent by providing data-driven insights into performance and development needs.
  5. Succession Planning: Assist in supply/demand and succession planning by providing data insights that inform future staffing needs.
  6. Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure that data reporting reflects the diversity and inclusion goals of the organization.
  7. Change Management: Support the deployment of change projects by providing data insights that inform training and development initiatives.
  8. Resource Alignment: Align data reporting with business needs to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  9. Coaching and Support: Provide coaching and support to managers on data reporting tools and systems.
  10. Recruitment Support: Provide data insights during recruitment campaigns to ensure effective talent acquisition.
  11. Maintaining strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.
You will need
  1. Knowledge of Data Reporting Tools: Proficiency in data reporting tools and software.
  2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  3. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide data-driven insights that support business goals.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to present data insights clearly and effectively.
  6. Experience in Data Reporting: Previous experience in a data reporting role is desirable.
