Job summary

Experis UK is seeking a Data Manager in the Bristol area with hybrid working (3 days in office). The role owns data governance, reporting and business intelligence to ensure trusted data for decision making across Technology, Operations and Engineering.

You will drive improvements, shape future data landscape, and establish robust governance. The position sits at the intersection of technology and business, with a focus on data quality and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data governance standards and best practices.
• Improve data quality, consistency and integrity across the organisation.
• Develop and enhance reporting and management information capabilities.
• Create a trusted "single source of truth" for business-critical information.
• Drive data-led decision making through meaningful insights and KPI reporting.
• Own and optimise core business systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Manage system integrations and data flows across the technology estate.
• Work with internal stakeholders to maximise system adoption and value.
• Support future digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, Engineering and Commercial functions.
• Translate business requirements into practical systems and data solutions.
• Challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with third-party technology suppliers and partners.

We are seeking a Data Manager to take ownership of data governance, reporting and business intelligence within a growing technology and engineering business.

This is a newly created role that will sit at the intersection of Technology, Operations and Engineering, ensuring data is trusted, accessible and used effectively to support decision-making across the organisation.

You will play a key role in shaping the future systems and data landscape, driving continuous improvement, enhancing reporting capabilities and establishing a robust governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Reporting

• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering process improvement and systems optimisation initiatives.
