A leading energy supplier in London is seeking a Data Leader to guide the Industry Operations Data team. You will develop analysts, ensure high-quality delivery of RFIs, and leverage data to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate has experience in the energy sector, particularly with regulatory bodies, and is passionate about data work and team leadership. This role offers opportunities for automation and reinforces the company's commitment to innovative technology for energy use.
After starting a mere 10 years ago, Octopus is the largest energy supplier in the UK. This growth has been possible due to our custom technology, innovative products and obsession with delighting our customers.
Our Industry Operations Data team plays a crucial role in managing internal key data, such as Billing, Metering and Dataflows as well as the data exchanged with industry bodies like OFGEM & DESNZ. They support accurate billing for our customers, respond to RFIs across all business sections, and maintain the smooth operation of our business-critical processes.
We are looking for a data leader to guide this team, using their experience of working in data and regulated environments to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data, and to identify opportunities for automation.
