The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at a leading hospital in London is looking for a Data Manager to support clinical trials in a hybrid working environment. This vital role involves data management, collaboration with clinical staff, and ensuring quality patient care through meticulous trial support and administration.
The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at UCLH is seeking a Data Manager to support a portfolio of Phase I-III clinical trials in the Lung and Breast trials team. The role may require coverage of other disease areas on a short-term or long-term basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and verifying trial-specific information to sponsors, supporting the setup of new clinical trials, and assisting with the processing of biological samples, among other tasks. You will work closely with clinical research staff in a supportive and dynamic team. Although primarily administrative, this role is vital in supporting clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care.
We currently support a hybrid working model, combining remote and office-based work. Flexibility for on-site attendance at short notice is essential to ensure service continuity.
Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical research, knowledge of cancer, good communication skills, and some healthcare experience. However, enthusiasm for the role is also valued.
The role requires organization, proactivity, and the ability to work autonomously, while collaborating effectively with the team and clinicians.
