The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and verifying trial-specific information to sponsors, supporting the setup of new clinical trials, and assisting with the processing of biological samples, among other tasks. You will work closely with clinical research staff in a supportive and dynamic team. Although primarily administrative, this role is vital in supporting clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care.

We currently support a hybrid working model, combining remote and office-based work. Flexibility for on-site attendance at short notice is essential to ensure service continuity.

Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical research, knowledge of cancer, good communication skills, and some healthcare experience. However, enthusiasm for the role is also valued.

  2. Complete data entry into case report forms as per protocols
  3. Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely completion of case report forms
  4. Resolve data issues by reviewing source data and anomalies, comparing with previous reports and normal ranges
  5. Prioritize workload effectively
  6. Process updated information and documentation for trial progress
  7. Create and maintain paper and electronic trial site files
  8. Maintain lists/databases of current, upcoming, and closed trials
  9. Organize documentation for audits and monitoring visits
  10. Process biological samples in the lab
  11. Communicate professionally with MDT, investigators, sponsors, and support departments
  12. Obtain tumor block samples and upload scans as per protocol
  13. Escalate issues to senior team members

The role requires organization, proactivity, and the ability to work autonomously, while collaborating effectively with the team and clinicians.
