We are recruiting two European Data Manager roles:

1) Permanent - full time - 40 hours per week

2) Permanent - part time - 30 hours per week

Job Description

We are looking for two European Data Managers, reporting specialists to join our team!

As the European Data Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient reporting of data flow from our external partners into our databases. Your role involves managing and organizing reporting data, collaborating with our Finance, Technology, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and accessible information on our business performance.

While remote work is supported, some European travel will be required once established in the role.

Your main goal is to act as a Reporting Specialist, configuring and maintaining data reports to ensure they are easily accessible for business insights. You will work with international data from our hotel, restaurant, outlet, and purchasing partners to centralize, manage, and organize information, providing a clear view of financial performance and forecasts. You will also manage relationships and forecasting systems for our European GPO and Managed Services, coordinating usage, statistics, and performance forecasting across sectors.

Additionally, your unique position makes you pivotal to global and European transformation initiatives, providing data, subject knowledge, and problem-solving support to wider change management teams. You will represent European interests at a global level, deputizing for the Director as needed.

Ideal Candidate Skills and Experience

• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Experience with DBA or similar roles managing large, complex data sources and standardizing data via ETL processes
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, along with SQL, PowerShell, Microsoft Access, and Excel
• Experience in procurement, preferably within the Food or Hospitality industry
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with management and external partners
• Experience supporting Finance processes like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Solid understanding of databases and their applications
• Attention to detail and a sense of ownership
• Critical thinking and teamwork skills
• Effective communication skills
