Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking a Data Manager for a permanent role with a Social Housing provider in the East of England. The role focuses on strategy, governance and data quality, sitting in the leadership team and acting as the face of data across the organisation.

You will line manage two data analysts and collaborate with a data visualisation team, shaping the data improvement programme as the strategy matures toward 2027.

Job description

Data Manager required on a Permanent basis for a medium sized Social Housing provider, operating across East of England.

The role will primarily focus on strategy, governance and data quality. The role will sit as part of the leadership team, being the face of data across the organisation. The role will line manage two data analysts and work alongside a data visualisation team.

The organisation has a well invested data improvement programme in flight, and the successful candidate will get to shape the next interaction, as the current strategy matures in Mar 2027.

The essential skills & experience for this role are:

• Experience in Social Housing
• Experience in setting a data strategy and driving that across an organisation
• Ability to coach the organisation on good data quality best practice
• Ability to education the business on data ownership
• Ensure regulatory compliance is in place and stuck to
• Scoping the future readiness for AI adoption across the organisation

This role is a non-technical position. The role doesn’t require someone from a technical data background who is building dashboard and interrogating data, for example. This is a strategic position.

Location: Mainly remote, twice a month to Lincolnshire
