Job description

Aldern House, Baslow Rd, Bakewell (hybrid home working)

£35,412 to £41,771 per annum (pro rata)

The Role

We are seeking a current or aspiring Data Manager (3 days per week).

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Authority's data assets and collaborating with various teams to facilitate effective data use.

You will optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring databases are maintained, updated, secured, and utilized effectively.

You will work closely with other teams within the Authority to understand their needs, design and implement improvements, and contribute to decision-making processes and the management of the National Park.

Regular Tasks Will Include
  • Collaborating with the Records Manager to ensure compliance with data protection laws
  • Writing and analyzing reports to identify trends and performance
  • Participating in training sessions or meetings with third-party suppliers
  • Working with the Web Developer on developing new self-service functions
  • Communicating with non-ICT staff to implement service improvements
