Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Management & Governance Manager to join our Data & AI Practice in Manchester. You will bring deep experience in governance, strategy, and data management to lead client engagements and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will design and deliver governance solutions, manage scope and resources, and mentor multidisciplinary teams across locations, while contributing to proposals and client discussions.

Qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience in data management and governance.
• Experience leading a project or major workstream from definition through delivery.
• Strong coaching and development of team members with clear direction and feedback.
• Proven consulting skills: structuring ambiguous problems and delivering client-ready recommendations.
• Experience contributing to proposals, delivery estimates, and reusable assets.
• Commercial awareness balancing client outcomes and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in one or more Data Management and Governance capabilities across client engagements.
• Lead design and delivery of governance solutions aligned to priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Manage projects/workstreams: scope, plans, resources, budgets, risks and milestones.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams with clear objectives and inclusive culture.
• Assess current data capabilities and translate findings into practical recommendations.
