Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Data Lead to oversee data management, quality and reporting across a national charity service. You will align with the Data Governance and One Data Platform, working with service managers and central performance teams to deliver trusted insights.

You will lead data operations, develop dashboards in Power BI, and ensure compliance with GDPR and quality standards while supporting improvement initiatives and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in data, analytics, information management, or a related field.
• Experience as Data Lead, Performance Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar.
• Experience managing, analysing, and reporting operational or service-level data in a complex environment.
• Experience delivering training and supporting change initiatives.
• Health, social care, substance use, or commissioned services experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local lead for data management and reporting within the Derby service.
• Support implementation of the One Data Platform and ensure high-quality source data.
• Embed data standards and ensure consistent recording of interventions and outcomes.
• Produce, validate, and interpret performance reports for commissioners and management.
• Support managers in using data to improve performance and meet KPIs.
• Ensure timely contractual and statutory reporting.
• Lead day-to-day data operations within case management systems.
• Deliver training and guidance on data recording, reporting, and governance.
• Build relationships with commissioners, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Represent the service in meetings relating to data, performance, and quality.
