Job description

i2, a Harris Computer company, are seeking a Data Lead on a full-time, permanent, remote-working basis, in the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills, enabling them to understand and analyze raw data formats from global customers.

This role involves working with diverse data types, including financial and communications data. The Data Lead will collaborate closely with customers to understand their data, identify their objectives, determine cleansing and processing requirements, and effectively relay these requirements to the development team.

What you will do

In performing this position, your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Data Analysis and Translation:
  • Understand, analyze, and translate complex data requirements from customers into actionable tasks for the development team.

Customer Collaboration:
  • Liaise with customers and prospects to gain a comprehensive understanding of their data normalization and presentation requirements.

  • Document customer requirements clearly and concisely.

Technical Communication:
  • Relay customer requirements effectively to technical team members, ensuring alignment between customer needs and technical deliverables.

Project Prioritization:
  • Assist in prioritizing project features based on customer needs and strategic goals.

Education and Support:
  • Educate and support internal staff on the benefits and features of the project.

  • Guide and support early adopters in utilizing the project’s features effectively.

Roadmap Development:
  • Assist the Initiative Champion in developing and refining the project roadmap.

Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new releases and features to ensure quality and alignment with customer requirements.

Experience Utilization:
  • Leverage previous experience with normalizing and analyzing Call Detail Record (CDR) data.

  • Apply knowledge gained from working as an intelligence analyst (if applicable).

Attendance at Court:
  • Represent the i2 Group at Court if required to explain normalization processes.

What we are looking for
  • A proven ability to understand and analyze complex raw data formats.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with global customers and internal teams.

  • Experience in defining data cleansing and processing requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and guide project development.

  • Familiarity with UAT processes and ensuring quality control in project deliverables.

  • Previous experience with CDR data analysis is highly desirable.

  • Background as an intelligence analyst is advantageous but not essential.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Knowledge of data normalization and presentation best practices.

  • Experience of presenting at Court.
