Job summary

The Devonshire Group is seeking a Data Lead to steer the Group’s data strategy, governance, and delivery. You will own the Microsoft Fabric data platform, the enterprise data warehouse, and BI data models, while guiding a team and partnering with executive stakeholders to enable data‑driven decisions across multiple sites.

You’ll shape the data direction, develop standards, and oversee data integrations and reporting, balancing hands‑on work with strategic leadership in a complex, multi‑site

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with modern data platforms or lakehouses and Microsoft Fabric production work.
• Strong SQL, data engineering capability and knowledge of data modelling and governance.
• Experience in designing data solutions that improve decision-making across the business.
• Experience translating business needs into pragmatic, scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s Data pillar and translate priorities into a strategy, roadmap and delivery plan.
• Own the architecture and operation of the Microsoft Fabric data platform and enterprise data warehouse.
• Lead data integrations with reliable, maintainable pipelines and clear publication standards.
• Support data governance with ownership, quality definitions, and appropriate use of data.
• Oversee governed data models and measures underpinning Power BI reporting and dashboards.
