Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. in London is seeking a Strategic Data & Content Associate for a 12-month contract to drive consumer and B2B research projects and translate data into actionable investment insights.

You will collaborate with analysts, editors and marketing to deliver high-quality dashboards and presentations, leveraging Excel and terminal datasets to support decision-making across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in strategic insights, data analytics, or primary research (ideally financial services, market research or consulting).
• Strong familiarity with the investment research process and proprietary data used for market insights.
• Proven track record of developing and administering primary research projects across consumer and B2B audiences.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel (complex formulas, data modeling) and MS PowerPoint (storytelling and data visualization).
• Exceptional English language skills (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize under pressure.
• Self-starter, highly adaptable to changing priorities and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Juggle multiple research projects, ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.
• Primary Research: End-to-end oversight of consumer and B2B surveys with analysts and external partners.
• Data Translation: Turn raw survey data and proprietary datasets into actionable insights for investment research.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with analysts, editorial, and marketing to align on objectives and present findings.
• Data Management & Visualization: Build and maintain data models (Excel and on-terminal); craft impactful charts and presentations.
