Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a small but talented data team, helping them grow, collaborate, and deliver high-quality data solutions. This role is hands-on, involving data analysis, insights, and impact-driven projects.
• Working with large datasets spanning millions of users to generate insights that aid schools, teachers, and students.
• Shaping the company’s data strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and future-readiness.
• Championing a data-driven culture and keeping abreast of emerging trends like AI.

Qualifications

What experience you’ll need to apply:

• Technical expertise in Python, SQL, ETL, and Google’s data stack (BigQuery, Dataform, Looker Studio).
• Experience leading and mentoring data teams, with a passion for developing people.
• Deep understanding of data science, data engineering, and analytics with hands-on experience with real-world datasets.
• Strong problem-solving skills, workflow optimization, and data quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into clear insights.
• A purpose-driven mindset and passion for using data to make a real impact.
