About The Role

Within the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Performance, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Insight Manager to join our growing Business Intelligence Service team and contribute to enhancing performance and decision-making across our University by providing high-quality, meaningful, and actionable data analysis and insights.

The Data Insight Manager will provide maternity cover and be responsible for designing, assembling, validating, interpreting, and presenting qualitative and quantitative data insights to support the achievement of our University Strategy, including its Key Performance Indicators. The role will work with colleagues across the University to specify new dashboards, develop committee reports and present data insights to the senior management. In this position, you will require advanced analytical and data presentation skills, alongside excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the resilience and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

With a degree or relevant professional qualification, you will have the skills and experience needed to undertake complex data analysis, develop user-friendly dashboards using visualisation tools (e.g. QlikView) and make the best use of a wide range of complex data.
