Job summary

News UK is seeking a Data and Insight Apprentice to support editorial and marketing with best-in-class customer insight. You will learn SQL and data visualisation tools while solving commercial problems and shaping decisions on reader acquisition and ad performance.

You will earn above the national living wage, work four days a week with us, and study towards a fully funded Data analyst Level 4 qualification. Mentorship and tailored support are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect data sources.
• Ability to tell data stories and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Excel/Sheets and presentation tools.
• Pursuing data analytics-related qualification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate data from multiple sources to support reader, audience, and product decisions.
• Deliver audience profiling and regular reporting, responding to stakeholder queries.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations to explain key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with Newsrooms, Customer Experience, Marketing and Product teams.
• Prepare engaging insight presentations using internal and external data.
