Speechify is hiring for its data-focused AI team. This role handles all aspects of data collection to support model training, building high-quality datasets at petabyte scale through close collaboration of infrastructure, engineering and research.

Join a distributed, office-free group of engineers and scientists. You will maintain ingestion pipelines on GCP using Terraform, optimize cost and throughput, and help define the dataset roadmap powering Speechify’s next-generation products.

Competenze

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with Bash/Python scripting in Linux.
• Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code; experience with GCP or another cloud provider.
• Experience with web crawlers or large-scale data processing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Identify and bring in new sources of audio data for ingestion.
• Operate and extend the cloud ingestion pipeline infrastructure (GCP, Terraform).
• Collaborate with Scientists to improve cost, throughput, and data quality.
• Help define the dataset roadmap to support next‑generation products.
