Speechify is hiring a Software Engineer to join its AI data team, focusing on data collection and ingestion for model training. You will build high-quality datasets at scale, integrating infrastructure, engineering, and research.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong Linux scripting, Docker and Terraform, and experience with cloud providers (GCP). You will collaborate to optimize cost, throughput, and data quality for next-generation products.

Formación

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code and experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (GCP).
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for ingestion pipeline (GCP, Terraform).
• Collaborate with Scientists to improve cost/throughput/quality for data at scale.
• Help craft dataset roadmap with AI Team and Leadership for next-gen products.
