Job summary

LGC Group seeks a governance senior professional to lead data governance, information security and regulatory compliance across the Grant Management Group and BI Hub. You will influence senior stakeholders and drive data stewardship, risk mitigation and responsible innovation in analytics.

You will collaborate with DDaT and Information Governance teams to ensure secure data architecture and adherence to UK standards, while enabling progressive data analytics within GMG.

Qualifications

• Experience with data governance, information security and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical business solutions.
• Familiarity with AI governance, analytics and responsible innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement the Data Governance Framework across GMG and the BI Hub.
• Set up governance forums and decision-making systems for data ownership and accountability.
• Manage Data Management Operating Model aligned to DHSC rules and BI Hub.
• Define and monitor governance benchmarks, maturity measures and compliance reporting.
• Serve as the BI Hub authority on Data Governance, Information Security and Compliance.
• Guide security-by-design principles across BI Hub platforms and GMG services.
• Perform data risk evaluations and assist with PIAs/DPIAs for GMG platforms.
• Lead remediation efforts for governance, security and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with Information Governance and DDaT teams to ensure secure data architecture.
