Job Title: Data Governance Architect (MS Purview)
Location: Hybrid in London 2-3 days onsite

Job Description:
RED Global are seeking a skilled Data Governance Consultant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview and strong knowledge of DAMA principles. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to assess the current data governance landscape, identify gaps, and design a scalable governance framework aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive gap analysis of data governance roles, responsibilities, and processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to define governance frameworks, KPIs, and best practices

Develop a strategic data governance roadmap (short-, mid-, and long-term)

Recommend tools and create high-level logical architecture aligned with organizational goals

Partner with client DG leads to co-develop end-to-end governance designs based on workshop outcomes

Lead the MVP design for the HR domain, ensuring alignment with agreed scope

Support Microsoft Purview implementation in collaboration with engineering teams

Required Skills:

Deep understanding of data governance concepts and frameworks (DAMA preferred)

Proficiency with Microsoft Purview

Strong documentation, analysis, and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level data governance solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience delivering DG frameworks in complex organizations

Excellent communication and project coordination skills

Background in HR data or domain-specific governance (preferred but not required)
