Job summary

Pivotal seeks a data governance consultant to join a UK Financial Services programme. You will audit source systems, map data across onboarding, AML/KYC, complaints and communications, and help select a target platform within UK GDPR and FCA SYSC compliance.

You will lead DPIA work, establish data retention controls, and execute a phased ETL migration of millions of records, reporting to Pivotal’s Risk Director and Technology Transformation Director.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data governance programmes in Financial Services.
• Ability to map data across onboarding, transactional, AML/KYC, complaints and communications systems.
• Experience designing DPIA and data retention controls.

Responsibilities

• Audit source systems, data quality, and volumes; produce source-to-target data mappings.
• Design and execute phased ETL migration with validation and rollback procedures.
• Manage cutover, go-live support and post-migration stabilisation.
