Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Data Management Manager for Corporate & Institutional Banking in Bristol. The role focuses on metadata, data governance and risk controls within the Client Experience & Data Platform. You will shape data management practices across business and technology teams.

You will lead teams, build standards, monitor data quality and contribute to regulatory reporting. A hybrid pattern applies with strong collaboration across groups to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data management or data governance.
• Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, data quality, and master/reference data.
• Experience delivering cross-functional data initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear insights.
• Experience implementing data controls and handling data incidents.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Collibra, Ataccama, Dataplex, CI/CD and Google Cloud is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead metadata initiatives to meet regulatory obligations, including managing a small India-based team.
• Investigate data issues, identifying root causes, risks and barriers.
• Build relationships across CIB, Group and tech to embed data standards.
• Ensure critical data assets and data quality requirements are understood and improved.
• Produce communications, standards and guidance for business and tech audiences.
• Support data management in change initiatives to optimize data value.
• Contribute to data governance strategy across CIB.
• Engage with the Group's data practitioner community to build capability.
• Support committee and board reporting and governance materials.
• Champion improvements including AI-enabled solutions.
