Data Governance Manager Full time, PermanentLocation - Flexible Selby/London/Ipswich

About the role:

As the Data Governance Manager you'll support Drax to take control of it's data and establish and maintain a framework that ensures our data is managed, protected, and leveraged to its full potential. You'll define policies, standards, and processes for managing our data effectively and align it with business objectives. You'll Improve our data quality, enhance our data accessibility, and increase the value of our data assets.

You'll support the continuous improvement of Data Governance maturity including responsibility for:

• Data governance framework (incl. policies and procedures),

• Data quality,

• Document & content management,

• Metadata management,

• Reference and master data management,

• Data storage & operations,

Also working closely with other business units and projects/programmes to support:

• Data security

• Data architecture

• Data integration & interoperability

• Data warehousing & business intelligence

• Data modelling & design

Who we're looking for:

To be successful in this role you'll be data literate and have an understanding of data governance best practices. Ideally you'll have some project/programme management experience and knowledge of DAMA DMBOK.
