Data Governance Specialist (SC clearance required)

Are you passionate about data and its power to drive smarter decisions? SR2 is looking for a proactive, self-starting Data Governance specialist to play a key role in advancing data management across a government department.

In this role, you’ll support the operational delivery of data governance initiatives—bringing structure, coordination, and analytical expertise to mature data practices. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to embed data governance processes, promote data literacy, and ensure alignment with RN policies and standards.

A major focus includes leading data maturity assessments and establishing directorate-level data governance boards to support informed decision-making.

Due to the secure nature of the data, all applicants must have active SC clearance. The role is mostly remote, with some onsite meetings in South UK.
