Your future, as a Data Governance Lead at mydentist

You'll be joining our IT team within our office called Support Centre, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG).

The role is a 12 month FTC
Hybrid working arrangements - 1-2 days in the office (M26 1GG)

Your future, your role

As a Data Governance Lead, you\'ll be:

• Responsible for developing a cutting edge data governance platform within mydentist and socialising it with colleagues at all levels.
• Assessing the current data governance landscape, adopting best practice in order to help mydentist achieve its goal of being a data mature business making data driven decisions.
• Ensuring alignment with data privacy laws, industry regulations, and internal security requirements.
• Identifying and resolving data quality issues in collaboration with business and IT teams.

Your skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in data governance, data management, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM).
• Proficiency in tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica), understanding database systems and master/meta data management, and analysing data quality/compliance risks.
• Familiarity with data architecture, data modelling, and data quality tools.
