About The RoleTo assist in the forensic examination of exhibits and data held within. Ensure the continuity of media submitted and create forensic copies of data.
Undertake the initial acquisition of all media received into the unit, including computers and mobile devices.
Manage all material in accordance with the Criminal Procedures and Investigation Act 1996 (CPIA) concerning the destruction and storage of all Regional Force images.
Act as receptionist for visitors to the unit, including access control and maintaining the unit's appointments calendar.
Monitor server storage levels within the unit and manage the maintenance of critical equipment within the lab.
Liaise with specialist companies for software and hardware acquisition and training providers.
