St Mary’s CE Middle School, Puddletown

Permanent Data and Finance Officer, up to 30 hours per week

Term Time only (38 weeks per year plus one week during the holidays)

Grade 6 - £13.05 to £13.69 per hour (pay award pending)

St Mary’s CE Middle School, Puddletown, has a rare and exciting vacancy for a Data and Finance Officer who will join our supportive and friendly Admin Team providing vital support services to our staff, pupils and parents. This is a fast-paced, varied, and rewarding role!

The role is for up to 30 hours per week that can be over 4 or 5 days (to be discussed at interview).

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Protection Lead: Oversee the schools data protection processes including the coordination of SAR/FOI responses
  • Admissions: Handle the pupil admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment including maintaining records
  • Management Information System (MIS): Maintenance of the schools MIS (Arbor) and other pupil systems including data analysis, statutory returns and end of year procedures
  • Finance: To accurately raise orders and invoices for payment, reconcile statements and bank cash
  • Office Support: Support with answering the phone and reception. The potential to become a first aider with training provided where appropriate
